Dr Michael Krasovitsky

Dr Michael Krasovitsky is a medical oncologist at St Vincent’s Hospital specialising in older age oncology, along with the management of liver, breast and lung cancers. He is passionate about optimising the care of older patients with cancer, and is chair of a national geriatric oncology consortium (the Geriatric Oncology Emerging Experts and Researchers group). His research primarily focuses on enhancing the care of older individuals with cancer, ageism in cancer care, and addressing frailty in older individuals. Dr Krasovitsky is a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales, where he coordinates student teaching in medical disciplines over the 6 year program.
